If a customer is with Lanka Bell for a certain time period of more then 1 year, he will be entitled to receive the corresponding discount on his monthly bill as indicated in the above table, provided he settles his total outstanding dues on time. The discount will be reflected and implemented in the bill two months from that time.

As an example if a customer is in his fifth year with the network he will be entitled to a 12% discount. If his usage (without the rental) is 500/- for the month of April the Discount he would receive is 60/-. This amount will be reflected and implemented against the June bill, provided his April bill is settled on time. If the June bill is 850/- then for that month he will have to pay 790/- (i.e. 850/- minus 60/-).
